Our student ministry focuses on deepening faith in God and helping other students become believers. Our student ministry focuses on three different age-group: college, high school and middle school students.
College Students
College students are invited to attend the adult worship services here at New Covenant. We also host a College Connections Class during the 11:00 a.m. service, and encourage college students to become involved in Christian Challenge hosted on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.
Middle and High School Students
Sunday morning services for New Cov youth are held in "the Flipside" youth area. It is a high-energy but comfortable setting in a fun atmosphere complete with a pool table, ping pong and other games where students can interact with each other before and after service or during youth special events. Our Youth ministry is comprised of two groups - Middle School students and High School students.
In addition to the Flipside, New Covenant encourages youth to participate in small groups: Explosion Middle School Small Groups and High School Small Groups. We also have Ministry teams for high school youth that help students to plug into and share their gifts, and Trips and Events for both middle and high school youth.
