Children of the World International Children's Choir
May 21, 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.
As part of its 2007-08 U.S. tour, World Help presents Children of the World. This choir, comprised of orphaned and disadvantaged children from several different countries, will be performing at New Covenant Community Church on Wednesday, May 21 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. A free-will offering will be taken.
Their high-energy and inspiring program will feature several songs, in both English and native dialects, as well as stirring personal testimonies. The children have performed in such venues as Focus on the Family, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Crystal Cathedral and Disney World.
Children of the World represents millions of innocent hurting children who are suffering needlessly as a result of the AIDS pandemic in Africa. Their purpose is to generate compassion and inspire individuals to get involved in helping over 15 million children who have been orphaned and their lives drastically impacted by AIDS. A special video presentation will take you into the heart of this crisis and show you how to make a difference.
World Help was born out of a sincere desire to help those in need both spiritually and physically. We exist to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment through partnering, training, helping and serving, especially in the unreached areas of the world.

An important activity of this ministry is the offering of FREE baseball clinics in Lincoln and Omaha for children ages 7 through 14. Several former professional players conduct the clinic, giving first-rate instruction with a message of God's love.
This year, the Lincoln clinic will be Thursday, June 12. We are looking for volunteers who would help directly with the kids or behind the scenes in various capacities. This is a great opportunity to unleash those spiritual gifts!
If you are intersted in learning more about this or wanting to get involved, call the office at 484-5033.
