New Cov Families Around the World

The Brown Family
A New Covenant family working in Central Asia

Hello from over here! We hope that most of you keep up with us on our website: www.brownews.org. Also, we are thankful for those of you who have signed up for our Prayer Community and regularly pray for us.

This year looks set to be another fruitful year in our work with one particular ethnic group, who speak their own unique language and have a distinct Muslim culture. We, and others, plant and water, but it is God who gives the growth. This year we hope to see fruit in five areas in particular:
  1. Deepening the theological training of their church leaders and getting biblical understanding of their new beliefs out to more and more followers of Jesus
  2. Connecting them more with the global Church
  3. Verifying the numbers of reported new followers of Jesus and new churches in areas off limits to foreigners
  4. Seeing the wives catch up to the men in their understanding of, and obedience in, their journey of this Jesus faith
  5. Distributing audio and video copies of the first two books in their language: Luke & Acts.

We would love to see some of you over this way as well. The things you do well in your life in Nebraska, that knowledge and experience is probably needed by this ethnic group. So make sure you have a passport, because you just might find God telling you to become a short-term, hands-on participant in this adventure. Whether it is parenting, farming, teaching, being a wife, accounting -- whatever your abilities are -- if you want to come, we will find a place for you.

See you here or there!
Jeff, Diane, Daniel and Alyssa

A Note from New Cov...

The Brown family is working in Central Asia with an agricultural people group. If you want more detailed information about how to be partners with them, contact the church office. Not every form of partnership with them involves traveling to where they work. But, just in case it does, the first step is easy -- GET A PASSPORT!!! Then you will be ready administratively for whatever God lays on your heart outside the continental United States.
