New Cov Families Around the World

The Brown Family
A New Covenant family working in Central Asia

Hello from over here! We hope to see many of you this summer when we are back in Lincoln, at least in a large group if not more individually. In the meantime, we hope that most of you keep up with us on our website: www.brownews.org. Also, we are thankful for those of you who have signed up for our Prayer Community and regularly pray for us.

This year looks set to be another fruitful year in our work. We, and others, plant and water, but it is God who gives the growth. This year we hope to see fruit in five areas in particular:
  1. The discipleship of their women;
  2. Adding more theological training sites in other countries where "Angus" live, beyond the two sites in their main country;
  3. Coming a bit more out of the shadows and connecting with the global Church;
  4. Training them to run their own organizations, both church-network structures and humanitarian aid organizations; and
  5. Helping them start a Cooperative Program to fund their own ministries.

We would love to see some of you over this way as well. If you are an educator, a farmer, or a seasoned administrator/manager - or even if you only play one on TV - make sure you have a passport, because you just might find yourself as a hands-on participant in this adventure fairly soon. The rest of you - you're not off the hook either! If you want to come, we will find a place for you.

See you here or there!
Jeff, Diane, Daniel and Alyssa

A Note from New Cov...

The Brown family is working in Central Asia with an agriculturally-based people group. Jeff has provided us five descriptions of opportunities to join them in training these people in different areas. Specifically, teacher training, school administration training, livestock raising or veterinarian training, and agriculture training. So, if you are a farmer, cattlemen, veterinarian, teacher, or education administrator and want more detailed information, contact Zach in the church office. Jeff and his family will be here sometime in July or August, so there is a chance to get even more detailed information at that time. First step is easy -- GET A PASSPORT!!! Then you will be ready administratively for whatever God lays on your heart outside the continental United States.
