ADULTS

In a church the size of New Cov, one of the easiest ways to get connected is through a smaller ministry or group. Below are some great ways to meet new people and grow in your faith.

Connections Class

Connections Classes are our Sunday morning adult Bible study classes. Each class has an empty chair waiting just for you! Connection Classes are taught by gifted teachers and exist to help adults:

  • Grow in their understanding of scripture
  • Provide a place where visitors and new members to New Cov can experience community until they get connected in a small group.

Starting Sunday, July 7th, the Connections class began a study through the book of Acts, with the purpose of learning how to apply Peter and Paul's missionary efforts in our own lives. Connections Class is conducted at 9:00am during our morning worship service in the conference room.

Meet Brent

Brent has been on staff at New Cov since 2010 after doing college student ministry for 16 years with Cru and teaching seminary classes for 3 years. He serves as our Pastor of Adult Discipleship which includes overseeing small groups, men’s ministry, and our local and global missions efforts.

New Cov Men

From our annual chili event each winter to our regular men’s groups, inspiring men to move closer to God, develop authentic friendships, and make a difference in the world is our goal. All of our current men’s groups can be found on our Groups page. Check our Events page for special opportunities throughout the year.

New Cov Women

Ready to grow in relationships?

Women of New Cov gather together to encourage one another in their relationships with God and each other. We want to become more like Jesus in our actions, words and passions. We do this by being together and sharing our life stories, laughing, supporting, praying, worshiping, inviting others, and learning Biblical teaching. Check out the calendar to see what is planned for this month. We hope you join us.

Women's Fall Bible Studies

We will be starting two different Bible Studies in October.

One will be a Monday night study on the book, "Taste and See: Discovering Good among Butchers, Bakers and Fresh Food Makers," by Margaret Feinberg. This study will be led by Marilyn Peaslee and will meet at New Cov (location at New Cov TBD based on size of group), from 7-8:30 PM for seven weeks beginning October 7 and finishing November 18.  Please click here to register for this study.

The other study will be on Thursday nights, going through John Ortberg's book: "The Life You've Always Wanted: Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People." This study will be led by Laura Stunkel and will also meet at New Cov (room TBD) from 6-7:30PM, also for 7 weeks beginning October 10 and finishing November 21. Please click here to register for this study.
