Communications Associate (Part Time)

The Communications Associate helps communicate the life and mission of New Cov through engaging, clear, and consistent content. This role proactively supports social media, website updates, and ministry communications, both visual and written, working closely with the Communications Director as part of a team responsible for creatively capturing and communicating the ways God is at work in and through New Cov. With a focus on storytelling, organization, and attention to detail, this position ensures that what’s happening in the church is shared in a way that is timely, accessible, and aligned with New Cov's voice and vision.

This position requires weekday (M-TH) and Sunday morning in-person hours.

When we look at the early church, we see deep dependence on God, open hands willing to give and serve where needed, and a community of accountability and grace. We love Jesus and pray together regularly, we pitch in and serve where we can, and we keep short accounts with each other. A long standing directive at New Cov has been to take risks, and if it doesn’t work out, to “clean up what you mess up.” We also work hard on tasks, but above all we value each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. It does no good to love Jesus if you leave a wake of broken relationships in your path. If you take your calling and Jesus’ church seriously, you’ll fit right in.
