New Cov Student Ministry's goal is to help the younger generation grow in their relationship with Jesus and their love for Scripture. We believe this happens through genuine relationships, as leaders enter into the students' lives and walk alongside them, helping them apply the truths of God's Word in their real life. We create space to accomplish this goal through weekly meetings on Wednesday nights, meeting 2-3 times a month on Sunday morning, and having fun events and trips throughout the year, focusing on creating a welcoming environment for all students.

The Missions Team exists to share the Good News of Jesus by loving and serving people in our community and around the world. We provide opportunities to engage in our mission by partnering with local organizations and overseas workers.

We want you to grow as disciples of Jesus as you serve. And all of us who are up front and behind the scenes must humbly understand we are ambassadors or representatives of Christ.

Our church is not a building, but we are entrusted with the care and keeping of this amazing space at 6000 S. 84th Street.

From indoor projects like setting up chairs and filling in to clean, to outdoor projects like landscaping and yard cleanup, our Building and Grounds Team helps keep our space in tip-top condition! 

The Welcome Team is the first friendly face people see when they walk through our doors, greeting guests and regulars alike with warmth and kindness. By helping people feel seen, valued, cared for, and at home, they set the tone for the entire worship experience and reflect the love of Christ from the very first hello.

These teams serve in meaningful, behind-the-scenes ways that help make powerful moments of worship possible. They care for those being baptized by providing towels, offering direction, and helping with clean-up. They prepare the bread and juice for communion, ensuring everything is ready for the church to remember Christ’s sacrifice. They also assist during special services like Easter and Christmas, helping create smooth, welcoming experiences that allow the focus to remain on Jesus.

The New Cov Prayer Team plays an absolutely vital role in the life of our church, our care for one another and our neighbors, and as a catalyst to experience God’s presence and power. While prayer is essential to one’s existence as a follower of Jesus—as essential as breathing—it is just as essential to our existence as the collective Body of Christ. Prayer is how a praying church breathes together, and our commitment to prayer is one of the greatest factors in the effectiveness of our Gospel-mission.

Life was meant to be done in community. We are convinced that joining a group is the best way to get to know others and feel connected in our spiritual journeys. We have a variety of small group Bible studies that run for seasons during the year.
