Dr. Tim Johnson was born and raised in Texas. He met his future wife Karron at Baylor University. They have two grown children Kevin and Lauren and seven grandchildren (his grandchildren call him Thor). Tim is an unashamed optimist and truly believes that the best is yet to come. He works daily to recover from his “gift” of sarcasm. He loves biking and loves being outdoors. Tim has earned degrees from Baylor University, Southwestern Baptist theological Seminary, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim has pastored three churches and was Lead Pastor at New Cov from 2000-2022. He currently serves as Pastor Emeritus.
